Co-curricular

Balancing academic focus with personal pursuit

Haileybury provides a vast range of cocurricular and extracurricular offerings that allow each student to celebrate their individual interests and talents while developing self-worth and confidence.

The purpose of Haileybury’s Co-curricular program is to:

  • empower students to excel through a wide array of opportunities
  • foster a sense of community and belonging
  • develop interpersonal capabilities and essential skills for the modern world
  • support students to nurture their passions and understand their potential
  • promote personal growth and being active for life.

Something for every student

Haileybury’s Co-curricular program is part of the prescribed program and caters for every student. Throughout their Haileybury journey, students take part in a wide range of experiences offered by specialist staff in Sports, Performing Arts (Music, Drama, Dance, Pipes & Drums), Visual Arts, and Experiential Learning.

Students build on their existing interests, develop their skills and find new avenues to explore.

Balancing academic focus with personal pursuit

Haileybury supports and further enhances its academic and co-curricular programs with a range of extracurricular activities, including music tuitions, musicals and plays, dance and aerobics, Curious Minds clubs and societies, international trips, and the Duke of Edinburgh Award. As with our Co-curricular program, these activities aim to offer a balance to the academic focus, allowing each student to deepen their understanding and interest in their chosen pursuits and future pathways.
